I feel like the change in tone from the first game to the sequel was jarring yet necessary. Audiences were growing up and even out of the colorful platformers that included The Precurser Legacy. Jak II (known as Jak II: Renegade in some territories), did just that, too, and, tough as the game was/is, it’s still so much fun. Even better is the fact the entire franchise is available on PS4 & PS5, so a whole generation of gamers can experience them and see why this duo was such a big deal. Side fact, Jak II holds the record for most cutscenes in a platforming game.

I am trying to 100% complete the game and I’m stuck at one part 😭 it’s even a side quest thank you bro I’m happy that I can move on from it ❤

The best Sly game. Sure, Thieves in Time is more beautiful (like wow) and Sly 3 has great character growth, but Sly 2 is the strongest overall package. It was a great evolution for the series and made it what it is.
